Cookie Policy

Last updated July 2026 · Applies to banbino.co and the Banbino apps

This policy explains how PandoraByte LLC (“Banbino”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies, what they are used for, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside our Terms of Use.

Questions: contact@banbino.co. You can change your preferences at any time in account settings.

    1. Introduction

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate Banbino, keep it secure, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Privacy matters especially where family-building decisions are concerned, so this policy sets out plainly what we use and why.

    1.1 Why it matters here

The information you share on Banbino is sensitive. Cookies help us provide the experience without collecting more than we need, and we explain each purpose below.

    1.2 Managing your preferences

If you are already familiar with cookies and simply want to change your settings, do so in your account preferences in the app, or in our Cookie Preference Centre on the web.

    2. What cookies are

    2.1 Definition

Cookies are small text files stored on your device, computer, tablet, or phone, when you visit our website or use our app. They hold information that lets the platform recognise your device and remember choices you have made.

    2.2 Similar technologies

We use the term “cookies” to cover comparable technologies, including local storage, software development kits in our mobile apps, pixels, and device identifiers. The same rules in this policy apply to them.

    2.3 What a cookie contains

Typically the domain that set it, an expiry date, a unique identifier, and sometimes limited information about your device and preferences.

    3. Types of cookies we use

    3.1 By who sets them

First-party cookies. Set by us, and used to keep you signed in, remember your language and search preferences, and understand how the platform is used.

Third-party cookies. Set by service providers acting for us, such as analytics providers, advertising platforms, and clinic partner systems. Their use of the data they collect is also governed by their own privacy notices.

3.2 By how long they last

Session cookies. Deleted when you close your browser or app. Used for things like maintaining a signed-in session.

Persistent cookies. Remain for a set period, days, months, or years, so we can recognise you on your return and keep your settings in place.

    4. How we use cookies

    4.1 Purposes

Essential platform functions. Account sign-in, session management, security, load balancing, error prevention, and payment processing for subscriptions.

Preferences and personalisation. Matching and search preferences, geographic settings, language, and profile customisation.

Service improvement. Usage analytics, performance monitoring, feature testing, and crash and error tracking.

Safety and security. Fraud detection, abuse prevention, bot and duplicate-account detection, identity verification, and safety reporting.

    4.2 Legal basis

Essential cookies are used because they are necessary to provide the Service you have asked for. Analytics, personalisation, and advertising cookies are used only with your consent where consent is required by law, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

    5. Managing cookies and your choices

    5.1 In Banbino

Open Settings → Privacy → Cookie preferences in the app, or the Cookie Preference Centre on the web, to accept or reject each non-essential category.

    5.2 In your browser

Chrome: menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies. Safari: Settings → Privacy. Firefox: menu → Settings → Privacy & Security. Edge: menu → Settings → Cookies and site permissions. You can also clear cookies already stored, and reset your advertising identifier in your mobile device settings.

5.3 Essential cookies cannot be disabled

Sign-in and authentication, security and fraud protection, core matching and messaging features, and subscription payment processing depend on them. Turning them off in your browser will prevent the Service from working.

5.4 If you disable other cookies

The platform will not remember your preferences between visits, some features may behave unpredictably, and problems may take us longer to detect and fix.

    6. Changes and how to contact us

    6.1 Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our use of cookies changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top reflects the most recent version, and we will tell you in the app about material changes.

    6.2 Contact

Write to contact@banbino.co, or to PandoraByte LLC, 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Our Help Centre also has step-by-step guides for managing cookie and privacy settings.
